Winter 2016

I have neglected this blog for just over a year--the last post was when we went to Florida for Christmas 2016. I'm going to work to fix all that, and post some picture from the last year. A lot has happened!!

The past couple of weeks

A fun bike ride to look for koala's

We are looking very sporty!

We found seven. I love koalas.

A drive up into the mountains, and a picnic here, wherever it was we were

We made butter. Because we could.The girls love it.

Life lesson learned: frilly aprons are a must for washing the car (as well as making butter). I had to sit this one out, as I had no frilly apron. Poor me.

Winter continues to be awesome

If this is winter in Australia, you will never hear me complain. I'll report back in a month to see if I feel the same way.........

We've had a lot of rain. I'm not exaggerating, it was a lot. Dave found this guy on a walk around the neighborhood, probably trying not to drown.

He wasn't overly happy, or  moving much, but he made a great picture.

The girls celebrated the return of the sun with some netball in the back garden.
